Firewall Rules:
The SmoothRule module (outgoing/egress rules) has been integrated into Corporate Firewall Version 5, including the following features:
Create multiple profiles to control user access to Internet services (eg block games, IM etc.)
Block port agile Peer to Peer (P2P) traffic (eg KaZaA, eDonkey, BitTorrent etc.) using Deep Packet Inspection technology
Control access to external email servers
Traffic blocking includes drop and reject options for both source and destination addresses
Logging and Reporting:
The SmoothMonitor module (reporting and alerting) has been integrated into Corporate Firewall Version 5, including the following features:
Comprehensive range of reports that can be automatically emailed to recipient lists
SMS Text Message alerting of attempted intrusions, blocked access, system problems etc.
Automatic backup of log files to another system via secure SCP file transmission
Enhanced log file management and viewing
Real-time log file viewers using Ajax
Selectively log blocked traffic
Export log files in CSV format and Excel® formats
New and improved reports with the option to produce in Excel® format
Network analysis tool for displaying network traffic information

VPN:
The SmoothTunnel VPN module has been integrated into Corporate Firewall Version 5, supporting a single VPN tunnel for use as a remote VPN node (as per former SmoothNode module):
IPSec for site-to-site VPN connections
Integrated Certificate Authority to generate self-signed x509 certificates
IPSec Road Warrior Support (requires IPSec client on user's computer)
Add VPN Connection Pack(s) for full VPN Gateway supporting up to 100 VPN tunnels
Simplified tunnel configuration with "advanced" buttons to expose infrequently used options
Additional IPSec configuration parameters to ease inter-operation with non-SmoothWall systems
Improved tunnel and certificate management
Activity report for mobile/Road Warrior users (L2TP and IPSec) and site-to-site VPN connections
Voice over IP (VoIP) Telephony:
Transparent SIP proxy and gateway for the protection of VoIP telephone systems. In transparent mode the proxy supports the use of remote SIP proxies at Internet Telephone Service Providers (ITSPs).
SIP registering proxy for inbound connections to SIP phones and softphones (PC clients).
Automatic classification of VoIP traffic (eg as high priority) when using SmoothTraffic Bandwidth Management (QoS) module.
Management:
Multiple users with configurable access rights (eg reporting only, network configuration etc.)
New login page, customizable login messages and logout facility
Configuration replication between systems (eg from head office master to branch offices)
