Kaspersky Anti-Spam is compatible with all commonly used mail systems, providing easy integration with existing LINUX or FreeBSD network configurations.

The solution is flexible enough to be used either as a separate filter or a full-scale enterprise mail server supporting Sendmail, Qmail, CommuniGate Pro, Postfix or Exim.

Every incoming e-mail message is checked for attributes characteristic of spam. First, Kaspersky Anti-Spam checks the sender’s details and compares them to various internal and external "blacklists".

Second, Kaspersky Anti-Spam utilizes a state of the art filtering technology using linguistic algorithms based on a comparison with sample messages and regular expressions (words and phrase combinations).

A built-in administration module based on a web interface allows administrators to modify program settings from any node in the network, for example, to change parameters for automatic spam database updates or to add new signatures directly to the database.
