AntiSpam

Astaro's firewall solutions provide powerful antispam protection as part of an integrated network security solution. The product is available both as hardware (stand-alone network appliance) and as software than can be installed on any standard "whitebox" server. All incoming mail is examined by Astaro spam filtering module before reaching the mail server.

The antispam module detects and blocks unsolicited emails, using multiple isolation methods to pinpoint spam types while minimizing “false positives”.

It performs a series of tests and assigns a “spam score” to each message indicating the probability that the message is unsolicited. Messages whose score exceeds thresholds set by the administrator are dropped, returned to the sender, passed to the recipient with a warning, or quarantined.
